Today it’s likely to be an integral part of a wider living space and the centre of formal and informal entertaining in the home. The client wished to have the kitchen as a work of visual symmetry and a sculptural masterpiece with a very strong contemporary look. The island is a piece of architecture in itself.

“We worked with Celia Visser for about 2 years while building our solid masonry home. The Architect had come up with an exciting concept but we needed someone to work with to create the ideal interior.
Celia was who we settled on, as we felt comfortable with her as soon as we met her. She had wonderful ideas but was also happy to incorporate any that we had.
