Today it’s likely to be an integral part of a wider living space and the centre of formal and informal entertaining in the home. The client wished to have the kitchen as a work of visual symmetry and a sculptural masterpiece with a very strong contemporary look. The island is a piece of architecture in itself.
CLIENT COMMENT
“We worked with Celia Visser for about 2 years while building our solid masonry home. The Architect had come up with an exciting concept but we needed someone to work with to create the ideal interior.
Celia was who we settled on, as we felt comfortable with her as soon as we met her. She had wonderful ideas but was also happy to incorporate any that we had.
Having lived in the home for 3 years now there is nothing we would change in her design. Celia was fun to work with and nothing was a problem (or if it was she never let on!). Building a new home can be stressful but we never felt this with Celia and it made the whole build easy.” Jon & Jane Tye
